There is also excellent opportunity to earn 1.5x pay for OT hours worked.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Independently run various CNC Lathe Machines performing set-up, operation and program editing
• Responsible for selecting the appropriate scheduled job, setting up and running it to completion using any prints or other necessary documentation.
• Measuring and offsetting tooling.
• Marking and packing tools appropriately.
• Performing self in-process inspections and documenting them appropriately.
• Following company protocol: designated colored areas and colored tagging system.
• Performing machine maintenance based on guidelines.
• Responsible for bringing any non-conformity to the attention of the Operations Manager.
• Responsible for running & inspecting parts per dwg/print.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education and /or experience; high school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years min work experience performing set-up and operation of CNC Lathe / Turning machinery
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Motivated self-starter
• Enjoy working in a team environment as well as independently with little supervision
• Ability to pass a preemployment screening

• Salary: $22 to $35 an hour based on experience plus 15% shift differential pay Shift: 2nd shift position with regular hours of M-F 4:15 pm - 12:45 am
