Wage: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm

QPS Employment Group is hiring Production/Assembly Technicians for a company in Algona, IA. Assembly Technician Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Inspect components and identify damaged or worn parts.
• Polish seal surface areas to meet quality standards.
• Assemble main shaft assemblies for production technicians.
• Stage pre-assembled units and components for production use.
• Use hand and power tools to complete assembly-related tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, including proper disposal of worn parts.
• Cross-train in other shop areas and assist with additional duties as needed.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Assembly Technician Requirements:

- Basic automotive or mechanical skills required.

- Familiarity with hand and power tools.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to cross-train in multiple shop areas.

- Strong attention to detail and reliability.

- Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.

- Ability to lift and move parts and materials as needed.

- Ability to bend, twist, and perform repetitive hand movements.

- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment.
