Travel Physical Therapist – Sun City, Arizona Start Date: May 25, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts. Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation. Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals determined according to patient capacity and tolerance under the direction of the physician. Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record patient condition, and educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods. Develop a plan of care for each patient. Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions according to physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient. Qualifications Hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTEL. Graduate from an accredited school. Minimum one year of relevant experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist/ PT or be actively pursuing licensure. Current CPR certification. Other requirements determined by client facility.
