Registered Nurse - Full-Time (4 Days/10 Hours)

The Registered Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex care while demonstrating comprehensive awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations. This role involves ongoing professional development to effectively manage contingencies in clinical nursing, along with appropriate delegation and assignment of tasks to other care providers to optimize patient care.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Provide nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Administer medications and treatments according to appropriate protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment efficacy.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assess patient and family learning needs and provide education; identify issues and available resources.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• One year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS certification via AHA required.
• RN License in the state of employment or compact required.

Schedule

This is a full-time position requiring a schedule of 4 days per week, with shifts from 06:30 to 16:30.
