The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The specific unit is 6420 - 3NS - Latrobe.
Shift Information
- Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
- Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Role Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a progressive care setting. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans.
- Educating patients and their families on health management and recovery process.
- Documenting patient information accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Previous experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting is advantageous.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
