Job Responsibilities Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed. Help build and lead a high‑performing team of hourly team members. May assist with operational support functions such as purchasing, receiving, and inventory. Participate in applicant interviews and assist with employee relations. Job Qualifications At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team. Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction. Strong problem‑solving skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Starting hourly rate – $22.00 – $26.00, as well as an additional $2/hour for certain shifts worked after midnight *Eligibility criteria applies About Us Beginning as a hot dog cart in New York City’s Madison Square Park, Shake Shack was created by Danny Meyer, Founder and CEO of Union Square Hospitality Group and best‑selling author of Setting the Table .
