Coffee House (Assistant Manager) Team Lead

As a Team Lead, you'll play a vital role in shaping our caf culturesupporting the Store Manager, guiding the barista team, and making sure every customer leaves with a smile (and maybe a bag of our legendary coffee).

What You'll Do

• Lead by example, ensuring every customer receives efficient, friendly, superior service with a "customer first" mindset.
• Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily caf operations and step in as lead when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, inclusive, and organized caf environment.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to deliver quality drinks and service.
• Communicate promotions, product knowledge, and company goals effectively to the team.
• Act as a keyholder, helping with opening/closing responsibilities and protecting both product and people.
• Use checklists and standard procedures to execute smooth, quality shifts.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and managing caf supplies.

What We're Looking For

• A natural leader with strong people skills, able to stay calm and positive in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to being a reliable part of the team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for an entire shift, and perform physical tasks (bending, reaching, pulling, etc.).
• Experience in food service, coffee, or customer service is a plusbut a great attitude and willingness to learn go even further!
• Food handler's certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Tech-friendly and comfortable using Point-of-Sale systems.

• Base wage with tips range from $12.00 - $19.00 an hour.

• Positions available at multiple Albuquerque Pion Coffee House locations.
• Flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
