Account Manager

Overview Location: SanFernando, CA Title: Account Manager, US Petcare Division We are seeking a highly capable individual to drive sales performance within the assigned geography through solution selling, territory management, and business planning. Responsibilities Meet overall sales objectives and key growth product quotas through demand generation within the targeted geography; launch new products, services, and generate equipment leads. Consistently demonstrate solution‑selling capabilities and build technical knowledge, verbal fluency, and veterinary practice expertise; maintain and grow relevance and access within each account; interact with customers following Zoetis promotional guidelines. Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan and resource allocation; implement Zoetis resources, meet field‑activity expectations, and invest in medical education programs; establish a call‑cycle at the account and veterinarian level to deliver required reach and frequency; collaborate with Zoetis Petcare colleagues while adhering to integrity, compliance, work ethic, and teamwork standards. Education & Experience Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required. 3‑10years of documented success in consultative sales. Experience in animal health and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine. Ability to drive sales performance by identifying opportunities and solving problems. Use of analytics and insights for decision‑making and tactical execution. Strong attention to detail, budgeting skills, and independent work capability. Technical Skills Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Good judgment and fair decision‑making based on relevant information. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn Zoetis systems. Physical Position Requirements Ability and willingness to travel; some evening work required for educational programs. Compensation & Benefits US base salary range: $69,360–$139,265. Benefits include healthcare and insurance beginning on day one, a 401(k) plan with matching and profit‑sharing, and four weeks of vacation.
