Employment Type: Contract Client: State Government (Public Sector) Technology: PeopleSoft / PeopleTools / Oracle Job Overview The client is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer to support development, configuration, and data migration activities within the PeopleSoft environment. The candidate will work with technical teams to design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft applications while ensuring system performance, reliability, and compliance with organizational standards. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications using PeopleTools and PeopleSoft technologies. Perform complex legacy system to PeopleSoft data migrations. Develop and maintain PeopleSoft components, pages, records, and integrations. Work with Oracle databases for data management and optimization. Analyze and interpret .NET code (C#, VB.NET) and SQL Server stored procedures when integrating systems. Participate in system testing, debugging, and performance tuning. Collaborate with technical architects, developers, and business teams to implement system improvements. Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Minimum Required Qualifications 8+ years of overall IT experience in application development. At least 2 years of development experience with PeopleTools. At least 2 years of experience working with PeopleTools 8.59 or higher. At least 2 years of experience working with advanced Oracle databases. Ability to read and interpret .NET code (C#, VB.NET) and SQL Server stored procedures. Experience performing complex legacy system to PeopleSoft data migrations. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Public Sector organizations (Federal, State, or Local Government). Experience with Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials. Experience using JIRA for project tracking. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Work will be performed during normal business hours (Monday – Friday). Occasional work outside business hours may be required.
