HVAC Project ManagerFarmingdale, NY$160,000–$180,000 + BenefitsThe experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.Allegiance Group is partnering with a well-established mechanical contractor to recruit an experienced HVAC Project Manager for their growing team.Our client delivers high-quality mechanical and HVAC projects throughout Long Island and the five boroughs of New York City, working across a diverse portfolio that includes apartment buildings, condominiums, commercial properties, multifamily developments, new construction, renovations, and fit-outs.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional looking to take ownership of projects from pre-construction through completion. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.You will work closely with Owners, General Contractors, Engineers, subcontractors, vendors, Superintendents, Foremen, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Manage HVAC and mechanical projects from award through completionOversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, and overall deliveryReview plans, specifications, drawings, contracts, and project requirementsCoordinate with Owners, General Contractors, Engineers, subcontractors, and vendorsManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationCoordinate material procurement and equipment deliveriesMonitor project costs and proactively identify potential issuesAttend project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholdersOversee field operations and work closely with Superintendents and ForemenEnsure projects meet contractual, quality, safety, and scheduling requirementsAssist with estimating, proposals, project turnover, and other pre- and post-construction activities as requiredBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partnersRequirements:5+ years of experience in HVAC/mechanical constructionPrevious experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, or similarStrong understanding of commercial HVAC/mechanical systems and construction practicesProven experience managing projects from start to finishAbility to read and interpret mechanical xhyhwjd plans, specifications, drawings, and contractsStrong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and change ordersExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and competing prioritiesExperience working directly with General Contractors and OwnersProficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management software is a plusThis is a great opportunity for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join an established contractor, take ownership of significant projects, and play a key role in the continued growth of the business.How to ApplyFor more information, call CharlieatAlternatively, email your up-to-date resume to
