Sr. Accountant - Hybrid

Job Overview:
This role reports directly to the Senior Accounting Manager, and will have a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
Prepare and maintain reporting packages, variance analyses, and supporting documentation for executive leadership, private equity ownership, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
Calculate, review, reconcile, and analyze sales commissions and incentive compensation programs, ensuring accurate payments, proper accruals, and compliance with approved compensation plans.
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
Assist with year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of the organization
Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
Experience with other financial systems, NetSuite experience preferred
Advanced Excel knowledge
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects
Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
FX experience; foreign exchange
Detailed and accurate data entry
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work calmly under pressure
Proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, with significant experience in MS Excel
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
