Employment Associate – Los Angeles, CA
Direct Counsel represents a leading AmLaw 100 firm seeking a talented Employment Associate to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong employment counseling and litigation experience to work on sophisticated matters within a collaborative and nationally recognized practice.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have approximately 3 years of employment law experience , with exposure to both counseling and litigation. Experience with restrictive covenants and trade secret disputes is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities- Handle employment counseling and litigation matters.
- Advise employers on a variety of workplace and employment issues.
- Assist with non-compete, restrictive covenant, and trade secret litigation .
- Support class action litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
- Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Collaborate with partners and clients on complex employment matters.
- 3 years of employment advice and litigation experience .
- Experience with non- compete/restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation preferred .
- Class action experience is a plus.
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills .
- Strong academic credentials.
- Active California Bar admission required.
