Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesPrime Services delivers financing, clearing, and risk management solutions to hedge funds, institutional investors, and broker-dealers across equities, fixed income, derivatives, and OTC markets. Analysts and Associates serve as the primary point of contact for CFOs, COOs, accounting and operations professionals at these clients managing client relationships, delivering cross-asset solutions, and enhancing the client experience. This role provides direct exposure to front-office activity, hedge funds, and ownership of client relationships.This role offers a strong foundation in prime brokerage and client coverage, combining technical product exposure with client interaction and cross-functional execution. Analysts and Associates develop the skills necessary to progress into senior client-facing roles within a leading global platform. As an Analyst / Associate, you will i) gain direct exposure to hedge fund clients and portfolio financing strategies, ii) training across equities, fixed income, futures, and derivatives products, iii) opportunity to build client-facing skills and progress into a coverage role, and iv) collaboration with senior stakeholders across trading, risk, and operationsJob Function: Client Coverage & ExecutionSupport day-to-day management of hedge fund and institutional client relationshipsRespond to client inquiries and ensure timely resolution of issuesPrepare materials for client meetings and assist with follow-upsPortfolio & Risk MonitoringMonitor client portfolios, including leverage, margin, and financing exposuresIdentify and escalate potential risks or discrepanciesSupport delivery of insights to improve client transparency and decision-makingProduct & Platform ExposureDevelop working knowledge of securities financing, derivatives, and clearing solutionsAssist in identifying opportunities to expand client engagement across productsSupport onboarding and adoption of internal reporting and trading platformsCross-Functional CoordinationPartner with trading, legal, compliance, and operations teams to deliver client solutionsSupport onboarding and ensure smooth execution of new account setupsAssist with time-sensitive requests in a fast-paced environmentBasic QualificationsBachelor’s Degree1–3 years of relevant experience (financial services, operations, or capital markets) Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesSeries 7, 63, SIE (is required within 90 days of hire)Preferred QualificationsExposure to listed options, futures, or electronic trading Interest in financial markets and alternative asset managers Team-oriented with a proactive, results-driven mindsetABOUT GOLDMAN SACHSAt Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
