Position Overview

A Memphis-based entertainment and nightlife entrepreneur is seeking a highly organized, professional, energetic, and dependable Executive Assistant / Entertainment & Venue Manager to provide direct support across multiple business ventures.

The owner currently operates an established and will be launching a new second entertainment venue. This individual will work closely with the owner and serve as a trusted right hand, assisting with day-to-day business needs, venue operations, events, scheduling, vendor coordination, marketing initiatives, and the upcoming lounge opening.

This is not a traditional 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. position . The ideal candidate understands the entertainment and nightlife industry and is comfortable working a flexible schedule that may include evenings, late nights, weekends, special events, and daytime business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct executive and administrative support to the owner.
• Manage schedules, appointments, meetings, reminders, and business priorities.
• Assist with operations for the owner’s current nightclub and upcoming lounge.
• Help coordinate the opening and launch activities for the new venue.
• Coordinate special events, parties, entertainment, promotions, and VIP experiences.
• Communicate and follow up with vendors, entertainers, DJs, promoters, staff, and other business partners.
• Assist with staffing schedules and help ensure appropriate coverage for events and venue operations.
• Help coordinate marketing, social media, promotional activities, and community outreach.
• Maintain calendars and track important deadlines, reservations, events, and business commitments.
• Assist with purchasing, inventory coordination, invoices, receipts, and basic administrative recordkeeping.
• Help troubleshoot operational issues and handle time-sensitive needs on behalf of the owner.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive business and personal information.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact when the owner is unavailable or managing multiple priorities.
• Assist with additional business and executive-support responsibilities as needed.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who is flexible, resourceful, polished, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced entertainment environment . This person should be able to move easily between administrative responsibilities during the day and venue/event responsibilities during evenings and weekends.

Candidates should possess:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and anticipate needs.
• Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Comfort interacting with entertainers, vendors, customers, business professionals, and VIP clientele.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
• Experience in nightlife, hospitality, entertainment, event management, executive assistance, restaurant/lounge management, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Social media and marketing experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between Memphis-area locations as needed.

Schedule

This position offers significant flexibility but requires flexibility in return . Hours will vary based on the owner’s schedule, venue operations, events, and business needs. Candidates must be comfortable with non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends .
