Position Summary

AB Facility Services is seeking a reliable, hands-on Facility Supervisor to support operations across multiple client locations throughout the DMV area . This role is ideal for someone with commercial janitorial or facilities management experience who enjoys working in the field, supporting teams, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

This position will provide operational support by conducting site visits, performing quality inspections, covering employee call-outs, assisting with staffing shortages, and maintaining strong relationships with both employees and clients.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple client sites throughout the DMV area .
• Backfill employee call-outs and provide additional coverage as needed.
• Conduct routine building walkthroughs and quality inspections.
• Ensure client sites meet ABFS quality and safety standards.
• Identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Support Area and District Managers with daily operational needs.
• Coach, train, and support frontline janitorial staff.
• Perform site visits and communicate with client representatives.
• Assist with new account startups, employee onboarding, and training.
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply or equipment needs.
• Maintain accurate inspection reports and operational documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and client requirements.
• Respond to urgent operational issues and help maintain uninterrupted service across assigned accounts.
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial janitorial, facilities management, or building maintenance experience.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working independently across multiple locations.
• Ability to train, coach, and motivate employees.
• Organized with strong problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work when providing coverage.

Preferred Experience

• Commercial cleaning or facility maintenance operations.
• Quality inspections and client site walkthroughs.
• Employee scheduling and attendance management.
• Floor care, general building maintenance, and janitorial best practices.
• OSHA and workplace safety knowledge.

Location: Washington, DC / Maryland / Northern Virginia (DMV Area)
Schedule: Evening shift after 4PM- Part-Time (2535 hours/week)
Pay: $25.00/hour
