About This Role The Registered Nurse in the Advanced Medical and Neuro unit provides comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing telemetry and med-surg treatments. This role is ideal for those who are dedicated to patient-centered care and possess strong leadership and teamwork skills. Highlights Location: Jefferson Hills, PA Facility: Jefferson Hospital Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You'll Do Assess human responses and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. Provide leadership in a professional practice setting. Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels. Supervise, delegate, and evaluate assigned LPN scope of practice. Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care or health services. Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives. Utilize the nursing process to develop patient care plans. Analyze health status and determine patient care needs. Continuously evaluate and assess patient and family satisfaction. Promote compassionate communication that is patient and family-centered. Requirements Education: Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). Experience: Preferred certification in area of specialty. Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in Pennsylvania. CPR certification required. Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances required.
