About This Role The Registered Nurse in Oncology is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients. Highlights Location: Jefferson Hills, PA Facility: Highmark Health Schedule: Full-time What You'll Do Assess human responses and plan nursing care for individuals or families. Provide leadership in a professional practice setting. Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels. Supervise, delegate, and evaluate assigned LPN scope of practice. Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care. Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives. Utilize the nursing process to implement patient care plans. Analyze health status and determine patient care needs. Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel. Continuously evaluate patient and family satisfaction. Requirements Education: Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) required. Experience: Preferred certification in area of specialty. Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in Pennsylvania. CPR certification required. Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances required.
