Scientist II, Biomarker Sciences/Translation Sciences

Revolution Medicines seeks a Scientist II in Biomarker Sciences to join the Translational Research team. The role involves applying computational methods to analyze complex preclinical and clinical datasets, integrating multi-omics data to identify biomarkers and mechanisms of drug response, and collaborating across functional teams to advance RAS-focused oncology programs.

Responsibilities

• Apply computational approaches to identify biomarkers, drug response mechanisms, and pharmacodynamic effects from translational studies
• Analyze and integrate multimodal molecular datasets with clinical outcomes to generate biological hypotheses
• Develop reproducible analytical workflows and partner on AI-enabled solutions for data analysis and visualization
• Perform cross-study analyses to identify reproducible biological signals across the portfolio
• Communicate complex analyses and biological conclusions to multidisciplinary teams and scientific leadership

Requirements

• PhD in Cancer Biology, Molecular Oncology, Molecular Medicine, Human Genetics, or related field
• 3+ years postdoctoral and/or industry experience in translational biomedical research
• Hands-on experience analyzing bulk and single-cell sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, and integrated molecular data
• Strong oncology and cancer genomics background with ability to frame biological questions independently
• Demonstrated skill translating computational findings into testable hypotheses and drug-development insights
