Senior Safety Scientist II

Revolution Medicines seeks a Senior Safety Scientist II to provide pharmacovigilance and safety science support across its oncology drug portfolio. The role involves overseeing clinical trial safety, reviewing regulatory documents, conducting signal detection, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage risk throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive medical safety surveillance of ongoing clinical trials and identify emerging safety signals
• Review and author clinical protocols, investigator's brochures, informed consent forms, and regulatory safety documents
• Perform medical review of individual case safety reports and maintain safety profiles for assigned products
• Prepare safety data summaries and present findings to internal and external stakeholders
• Support regulatory submissions including NDAs, BLAs, and responses to agency safety inquiries

Requirements

• Medical degree or equivalent advanced qualification in life sciences
• Demonstrated pharmacovigilance and clinical safety expertise
• Experience with regulatory document preparation and clinical trial oversight
• Knowledge of drug safety signal detection and risk management processes
• Strong scientific writing and cross-functional communication skills
• Familiarity with oncology or RAS-targeted therapeutics preferred
