Position Overview

We are seeking a certified professional in Sterile Processing to join our team. The position is a full-time role with day shifts, working from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process surgical instruments and equipment according to established procedures.
• Utilize various cleaning and sterilization techniques and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to sterilization processes and equipment usage.
• Organize and assemble surgical trays and instrument sets based on preference cards.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on sterilization and disinfection methods.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and maintain a sterile environment.

Qualifications

• Certification in Sterile Processing (CRCST) is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a sterile processing environment.
• Experience with various sterilization methods and biological indicators.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and safety protocols.
• Ability to work within a team and communicate effectively.

Skills Required

• Proficient in manual cleaning and sterilization processes.
• Knowledge of chemical agents for decontamination.
• Experience with assembling instrument trays and organizing surgical setups.
• Understanding of high-level disinfection and immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS).
• Ability to perform steam sterilization testing and monitoring.
