Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking an organised and motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the successful planning, coordination and delivery of a range of projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, managing priorities and contributing to projects from initiation through to completion. You will work closely with project managers, internal teams, suppliers and other stakeholders to help ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.


Key responsibilities will include maintaining project plans, schedules, action logs, risk registers and other essential documentation; coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and recording minutes; monitoring progress against agreed milestones; and following up on actions to ensure they are completed promptly. You will assist with budget tracking, purchase orders, invoicing and resource planning, while escalating potential risks, issues or delays when appropriate. The role will also involve supporting project reporting, preparing presentations and status updates, coordinating communications, and helping to ensure that project governance, processes and quality requirements are consistently followed.


Applicants should have experience in project coordination, administration or a related environment, with a strong interest in developing a career in project management. Excellent organisational and time-management skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting. You should be confident communicating with people at different levels, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and able to build effective working relationships. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint, is required; experience with project management or collaboration tools would be advantageous. A proactive, practical approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to identify solutions will be highly valued.
