Senior Sales-Estimator-Project Management job in Minneapolis, MN
This is a permanent, full-time position offering a terrific salary and benefits package as well as career-growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationship with existing and new potential customers (reputable medium to large general contractors and building owners)
- Bid on upcoming TI and new construction HVAC projects typically ranging from 100,000 to 1 million
- Build accurate proposals for Plan-Spec and Design-Build projects
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure best pricing and timing of materials
- Coordinate with Superintendent, field and safety team regularly
- Submit change-order requests, RFI’s, and manage project billings for projects
- Manage projects from start-up to close-out, ensuring we are exceeding state codes and safety requirements
- Recruit, hire, and train new project engineers and estimators that can grow within our company
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience selling, estimating, and managing commercial hvac TI and new construction projects
- Local to St. Paul/Minneapolis area
- Stable work-history
- Strong references
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
- Prior field experience in Pipefitting or Sheet Metal
