Business Analyst - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst - Onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This position is for a Business Analyst who will act as the primary interface with business partners, solution architects, and cross-organizational technology teams. The Analyst will analyze current processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology. As part of an Agile Scrum team, the successful candidate will work with stakeholders to understand their needs, capture requirements, and collaborate with the Product Owner and Development Team to refine specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary interface between business partners and technology teams
• Analyze current processes and systems to assess the business model and its integration with technology
• Work with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze problems, and capture their requirements
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to evaluate features and write effective user stories and document business rules
• Work closely with the Development Team to refine requirements into executable specifications and review technical designs
• Provide support to UAT and SIT testers to clarify requirements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, working closely with business partners to elicit requirements and document process flows
• Experience documenting detailed functional and technical requirements
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with developers and testers
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision required
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to analyze existing capabilities and identify gaps and opportunities
• Working knowledge of agile tools such as JIRA
• 3+ years of practical agile experience
• Experience in a Product Owner role or working closely with a Product Owner
• Experience converting business needs into epics and stories and refining business processes

Pay range: $46.18 - $54.18 per hour
