Paid Social Creative Strategist

Overview As a Performance Creative Strategist, you are the visual and narrative architect of our performance marketing "pod." You will work as a peer alongside the Paid Social Specialist to bridge the gap between our affiliate content and the end consumer. You are a "master maker" who blends creative intuition, consumer psychology, and AI-powered tools to build ads and landing pages that scale. In this role, you will go beyond basic design; you will act as a growth engine, leveraging the latest in AI technology to rapidly iterate on content. You will own the entire user journey—from the initial "hook" on a Meta feed to the final conversion on our custom-built landing pages—ensuring every touchpoint is optimized for direct-response results. Key Responsibilities Creative Production: Create and deploy ad creative at scale to drastically increase the volume and variety of our ad creative testing. Full-Funnel Content Ownership: Own the narrative and visual flow of our custom-built landing pages, building the entire bridge that leads a user from a social platform to an affiliate partner’s sale. E‑commerce Psychology & Trends: Apply deep knowledge of online shopping trends and consumer behavior to create content that sells, preparing specific creative strategies for major retail events within the affiliate space. Strategic Ideation: Develop and present campaign concepts that align with both affiliate goals and consumer purchase intent, leading a creative audit process to outperform competitors. Rapid Iteration & CRO: Use data from the Specialist to eliminate underperforming creative and double down on winners, constantly testing new headlines, page layouts, and AI‑generated hooks to improve CVR and CTR. Collaborative Feedback Loop: Participate in daily data‑sharing sessions with your Specialist peer, merging technical tracking insights with creative formats to build a robust testing roadmap. Job Qualifications Experience: 2–3 years in digital creative production, performance design, or content marketing, focusing on e-commerce and direct-response results. AI & Tech Fluency: Proficiency in the modern AI creative stack (e.g., Midjourney, ChatGPT for copy, or AI video tools), comfortable using technology to automate and scale creative output. Landing Page Mastery: Proven ability to build and curate high-converting landing pages, understanding the architecture of a sale. Direct Response Expertise: Deep understanding of what drives a user to click and buy, especially in an affiliate context. Production Tools: Hands‑on experience with WYSIWYG design/video tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, internal CMS builders) and familiarity with AI tools that scale production. Affiliate & Retail Knowledge: Familiarity with the affiliate marketing ecosystem and the seasonal cycles of the e-commerce industry. Compensation Range Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The salary compensation for this role is $70,000 to $80,000. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
