Rush University Medical Center,  a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, invites applications for the position of Headache Medicine Physician.

The  Department of Neurological Sciences at  Rush University Medical Center is growing and looking to add BC/BE academic and community  Neurologists who have completed a Fellowship in Headache Medicine to their downtown Main Campus location. The Main Campus general neurology practice current team includes 6 academic clinical neurologists with Headache Medicine expertise. Candidates will have a faculty appointment and join the Department of Neurological Sciences at Rush University Medical Center, Division of Headache Medicine and Neuro-ophthalmology. Opportunities to grow outpatient Headache Medicine Practice, including procedures, will include outpatient and inpatient settings. Teaching and research opportunities are also available if desired by the candidate. Qualified candidates must be graduates from an ACGME-accredited neurology residency and must be eligible for the ABPN in General Neurology and UCNS in Headache Medicine. Outstanding clinical skills are required. Candidates will have a faculty rank commensurate with experience. A competitive salary and benefits package are available.

There are wonderful opportunities to collaborate clinically with over 100 faculty spanning the neurologic subspecialties and to teach with over 40 residents and fellows in most clinical subspecialty areas. The department also boasts a strong research infrastructure allowing faculty to thrive in their research pursuits. Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role, as well as additional compensation such as sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Pay Range: $251,700 - $367,200
