Position Highlights Monday - Friday Full Time, 40 hours per week First Shift Location: Headquarters in Newington, CT This position is eligible to apply for telework after successful completion of the working test period, and thereafter, in accordance with the Telework Policy. The Role The Transportation Supervising Rail Officer will be responsible for leading the Office of Rail Signal and Communications section and the Traction Power and Overhead Contact System (OCS) section. This position requires a highly experienced and technically proficient supervisor capable of managing and overseeing complex rail systems across multiple rail lines within the state. The role demands exceptional leadership, project management, and technical expertise to ensure the successful execution of critical infrastructure projects. Minimum Qualifications – General Experience Eight (8) years of experience in a professional or technical capacity in a railroad or railroad-related organization. Minimum Qualifications – Special Experience Two (2) years of the General Experience must have included responsibility for the planning and execution of large, complex rail transportation projects and/or programs. Minimum Qualifications – Substitutions Allowed College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree. #J-18808-Ljbffr CapMetro
