We are seeking a competitive individual to generate new business by contacting potential customers. You will sell and solicit insurance plans that meet the needs of the customers’ portfolio. You are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers and the community that ensure growth and opportunity for our business.

Responsibilities

• Sell Inside Lines Including: Home, Auto, and Life OR
• Sell Outside Lines Including: Commercial, Farm and Ranch, and Life
• Gather Necessary Information from prospective clients to generate a quote
• Make sales presentations and close sales
• Create and maintain a customer base
• Have a strong understanding of our current products and services
• Be flexible and available to meet with clients outside of the office and uphold a professional image, both in terms of dress and attitude, when doing so.
• Contribute to Agency Marketing efforts
• Create and maintain social media following to inform the public of company offerings.

Requirements

• Must have valid Driver’s License
• Complete American Family’s 2 week required training on-site
• Must have valid Insurance License including coverage for Property, Casualty, and Life. Candidates without a license will have 60 days from their start date to obtain one. The company will reimburse the cost of the passed licensing exam and the license fee once the license is obtained.
• If licensing is required in additional states, other than MO and IL, agency will cover licensing costs.
• License Renewal Classes are offered by American Family.
• High School Diploma/GED or Higher

Pay Structure

• Weekly Guaranteed Base Pay
• Monthly Commission Pay
