Infrastructure Technician

Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a PCS INfra Technician - Austin to join their team. As a PCS INfra Technician - Austin, you will be part of the infrastructure support team supporting the deployment and maintenance of critical semiconductor equipment within a clean-room environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: PCS INfra Technician

Location: Austin, Texas

Pay Rate: $23/hour

Shift: 1st shift - Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Support the end-to-end deployment of semiconductor equipment inside a clean-room environment.

• Oversee truck unloading, receiving incoming equipment safely and efficiently.

• Manage and assist with rigging activities, including equipment uncrating, staging, and preparation for movement.

• Support equipment move-in, ensuring tools are transported to the correct cleanroom bays or designated installation areas.

• Perform equipment set, leveling, and alignment per manufacturer specifications.

What's Needed?

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment install, rigging support, or similar industrial/mechanical environments.

• Ability to read and interpret equipment installation documents, layouts, and KTA packages.

• Strong mechanical skills including leveling, aligning, bolt-ups, frame adjustments, and hardware installation.

• Comfortable wearing full cleanroom suit (hood, mask, gloves, boots) for extended periods.

• Understanding of safety procedures including: lockout/tagout, rigging safety, and equipment handling protocols.
