Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Full-Time | Onsite | Weekend and Holiday availability required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with a 30-bed/trauma bay unit at a Level III Trauma Center
• Manage high patient ratios of up to 1:9 in a fast-paced ED environment
• Administer medications safely to both adult and pediatric populations in accordance with facility protocols
• Recognize and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias, identifying rhythms and initiating appropriate treatment or intervention
• Complete required unit-specific competency exams upon orientation, including a Medication Administration Exam and a Basic Dysrhythmia Recognition Exam, with a minimum passing score of 80%
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements (dark blue or white scrubs)

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Ability to manage high patient ratios (up to 1:9) in an emergency care setting
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
• Experience working in a trauma-designated facility
• Familiarity with adult and pediatric medication administration protocols
• Strong dysrhythmia recognition and intervention skills
