Communications Specialist

Job Responsibilities Keeps workers engaged in company initiatives. Publishes videos and photography on company website and blogs. Ensures organizational consistency in all aspects of communication including development, organizing and education. Supports ideas with research and experience. Recommends what information should be presented to employees, and times the release of information to coordinate with company events or initiatives. Measures and presents results of communication efforts. Works with appropriate departments and management to publish timely company information, such as memos and company directives. Confer with legal staff to resolve problems, such as copyright infringement. Respond to requests for information from the media or designate an appropriate spokesperson or information source. Study the objectives, promotional policies, or needs of organizations to develop communications strategies that will promote ideas, products, or services. Overview Project Management (weekly meetings time management / progress reporting) Asset Brand Transition (coordinate / work with our agency team where needed) Portfolio Brand Trademark Registration Coordination with legal Counsel Team Building / Office Brand Transition (about 30+ locations for roll-out as of Q3) Sales Enablement Package to ensure global consistency (Update Brochures w/ Combined Portfolio) Customer Pitch Decks (combined Ovivo + ECL Offerings) and landing pages to support trade shows / ABM Support Joint Value Prop Workshop (May) and TVD / “Best in Class” articulation forward Thought Leadership Messaging for Media Relations & Trade Shows Skills Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Expert ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Strong mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Expert knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. Expert ability to develop marketing and pricing strategy. Expert knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required. 15+ years related experience required.
