Perform preventive maintenance on equipment Perform diagnostics and make repairs on equipment safely and effectively to avoid downtime Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment Support equipment including aerial work platforms, general construction tools and equipment, large-scale power-generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related equipment depending on location Build skills for a career track in service or operation management Work with an incredible team of people in a safety-focused environment Requirements High school diploma or GED required Some trade school or equivalent training desired 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, lift 50 pounds or more, and work indoors/outdoors when required by the job Core Competencies Demonstrates advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, along with strong troubleshooting skills for diesel and heavy equipment.
