Administrative Services Assistant

Shift : Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Location : Lexington, KY Job Summary The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine seeks an Administrative Services Assistant to provide support for various faculty and department administrative processes. This position will be responsible for providing faculty administrative support to support daily office operations, scheduling, travel, recruitment, educational program support, trainee program coordination, and special projects. The assistant will also provide oversight and management of the fellowship programs, including accreditation support, HR management, compliance with all policies and procedures, and support for faculty needs. Additionally, the role will provide cross coverage of the residency program coordinator and other administrative staff. Responsibilities Provide faculty administrative support for daily office operations including scheduling, travel, and recruitment. Support educational programs, trainee program coordination, and special projects. Oversee and manage fellowship program operations, such as accreditation support, HR management, and policy compliance. Provide cross‑coverage for residency program coordination and other administrative staff duties. Qualifications Associate’s degree required. Minimum four years of related experience. Aptitude for database management, time management, attention to detail, organization, and communication. No supervisory responsibilities. Salary range: $19.00–30.09 per hour. Grade Level: 08.
