Key Technical Responsibilities

• Oversee, optimize, and refine high-volume, multi-layer blow molding operations (including 3-layer applications using EVOH, Nylon, and PCR materials).
• Manage, troubleshoot, and optimize Parison Weight Control Systems (PWCS), controlling complex mandrel drops and material distribution during parison purge for maximum efficiency and material savings.
• Drive machine control and processing improvements using both linear and circumferential programming.
• Interface directly with state-of-the-art PLC-driven control systems across converted equipment networks, utilizing advanced remote programming and live screen monitoring to fine-tune operations.
• Utilize flexible tooling systems equipped with cylinders and Radio-Wall programming across specialized continuous and industrial products (such as tanks, drums, and heavy-walled containers).
• Travel periodically across Midwest and Southeast regional sites to conduct advanced troubleshooting, process optimization, and complex equipment integration.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on background in Blow Molding processing with a proven track record of dialing in, adjusting, and perfecting complex continuous and industrial blow molding setups.
• Deep experience with multi-layer processing technologies and technical resin blends (EVOH, Nylon, PCR).
• Advanced proficiency in Parison Weight Control Systems (PWCS), wall thickness control, and programming techniques (including linear and circumferential systems).
• Strong technical grasp of PLC-driven controls, electrical schematics, and automated machine interfaces.
• Willingness to travel across the Midwest and Southeast regions as needed for process rollouts and technical escalations.
• Strong desire to learn advanced, custom-coded machine frameworks directly from a veteran expert as part of a long-term technical succession plan.
