What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a strong kitchen leadership role (upscale or fine dining experience strongly preferred). Solid culinary foundation with a passion for innovation, quality, and hospitality. Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example management style. Thorough knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Key Responsibilities Support the Executive Chef in overseeing all back-of-house operations. Manage daily food preparation, production, and service to ensure consistency and quality. Train, mentor, and develop culinary team members to achieve operational excellence. Collaborate on menu development, seasonal offerings, and new culinary initiatives. Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency. Monitor inventory, food costs, purchasing, and vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and company standards. Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative kitchen culture. Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing culinary talent. Partner with restaurant leadership to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
