Job Overview A law firm seeks a Professional Liability Partner in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers an opportunity for an attorney with a strong background in labor and employment defense litigation to lead a growing practice group. The candidate should possess strategic litigation experience, leadership skills, and a commitment to client service. Portable business is considered but not required. Duties Lead and expand the Professional Liability practice. Handle complex defense matters through all litigation phases. Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, insured professionals, brokers, and clients. Mentor and supervise associates and business professionals. Drive business development, marketing, and cross-selling initiatives. Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic growth opportunities. Requirements Admission to the California State Bar required. 10+ years of professional liability defense experience. Strong litigation, leadership, client management, and business development skills. Experience representing insurers and/or insured professionals preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications California State Bar admission. Skills Strategic litigation and leadership capabilities. Client management and business development expertise. Mentoring and supervisory skills.
