Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231 Work hours: PRN-As Needed (RN III); Variable Shifts · 6 shifts per 6-week schedule · Weekend and holiday requirements Emergency Department Highlights: · Self-Scheduling that helps with work life balance · Opportunities for educational and career growth · Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team · Fast-paced, high-volume department averaging 200 patients per dayQualificationsHere's What You Need: · Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or · Associate's degree in nursing required or · Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred · 1 year of experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required. · 1 year of RN Emergency Department in a hospital setting strongly preferred · RN – Registered upon hire required and · BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and · ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire required and · PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire required and · CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention training annually within 90 days required and · TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months required or · ATCN – Advanced Trauma Care Nurse within 6 months required · A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
