Work Schedule: Full-time, Night Shift 12-hour shifts Qualifications: Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) minimum; Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Licensure: Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License Active BLS, ACLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an RN in an acute care/hospital environment Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an RN in a dedicated Emergency Department (hospital setting, excludes clinicals/training/other units). Technical Skills: Proficiency in emergency nursing procedures, rapid response protocols, and patient assessment. Soft Skills: Collaborative, adaptable, compassionate, strong critical thinking, effective communication, patient/family education, emotional support. Preferred: National Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN or equivalent) upon hire. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Department. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and protocols. Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
