Responsibilities As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses. You will receive dedicated, personalized instruction for your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 exams. After obtaining your licenses, you will be taught foundational advisory skills—acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, understanding complex financial pictures, and guiding clients toward solutions that improve their financial lives. Once you reach key milestones, you will begin working in a financial center, helping to deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions, and approach to client care. After demonstrating success as a licensed FSA I, you typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II. In that role you will grow and deepen relationships within a portfolio of clients, applying the skills learned at Stage I. Successful Stage II advisors may advance to many roles within Bank of America and Merrill, supported by dedicated programs, tools, and resources. Requirements & Qualifications Required Qualifications: Ability to obtain required industry licenses. Self‑disciplined time and capacity management. Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions. Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration. Results‑driven mindset with a client‑first focus in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously. Adaptability to new technology or applications. Desired Qualifications: Current holders of FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE). Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
