Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

Registered Nurse – Surgical Services

Day Shift 6:30am - 2:30pm, Monday to Friday with some call coverage on weekends. May need to work late on high case loads.

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Contract Weeks: 13

Current RN licensure

3 Years of experience in Pre-op, OR, and PACU

ACLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred

Scrub experience preferred

Provides direct patient care within all scopes of practice in surgical services.

Conducts assessments and documents care provided.

Coordinates patient transfers and recovers patients post-surgery.

Circulates cases and assists with processing instruments/equipment.

Provides patient education and emotional support.

Adheres to infection control principles and departmental policies.
