Histotechnologist - Day Shift

Location: Florida

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour Shift (06:00 - 14:30), with potential adjustment to 10:00am - 6:30pm.

Job Description: The Histotechnologist will perform histological procedures and laboratory tasks to facilitate accurate patient diagnoses. Responsibilities include preparing tissue samples, performing staining, and maintaining laboratory equipment in accordance with established protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process histological specimens.
• Perform routine and specialized staining techniques.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards.
• Assist in laboratory research and development projects as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ASCP (HT or HTL) certification required.
• Florida state licensure required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a histology laboratory preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict adherence to protocol.
