Employment Type: Contract Job Number: 25780Remote Options: OnsiteJob DescriptionProcurement Coordinator Position Summary The Procurement Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the procurement team by assisting with purchasing activities, vendor communications, contract administration, and procurement documentation. This role helps ensure the timely and accurate purchase of goods and services while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with internal teams and vendors to support day-to-day procurement operations. Essential Responsibilities Assist with the purchasing process by preparing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and related procurement documentation. Coordinate with internal departments to gather purchasing requirements and ensure requests are processed accurately and on time. Communicate with vendors regarding order status, pricing, deliveries, and general procurement inquiries. Maintain vendor records, procurement files, and contract documentation. Track purchase orders and follow up on outstanding orders to ensure timely delivery. Assist with obtaining quotes from vendors and comparing pricing when requested. Support the procurement team with contract administration and document organization. Maintain procurement reports, spreadsheets, and purchasing records. Help ensure procurement activities follow company policies and established procedures. Assist with invoice reconciliation and resolve purchasing-related discrepancies with vendors and internal departments. Support special procurement projects and other administrative tasks as assigned. Maintain confidentiality of company information and procurement records. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus. 2–4 years of administrative, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain support experience. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience working with purchasing, ERP, or financial systems is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors. Background and drug screen required. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supporting procurement or purchasing functions. Experience with ERP or procurement systems such as Dynamics GP, ReQlogic, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. Experience maintaining procurement documentation and vendor records.
