Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This clinical role involves coordinating and implementing patient care in the Emergency Department. The Registered Nurse will ensure efficient and safe nursing practice following unit standards, supporting the delivery of quality care.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse

• Obtain and record initial assessment and establish priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
• Develop and implement a measurable individualized plan of care within the established time frame
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of facts and evaluations of patient outcomes
• Participate in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning
• Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
• Utilize effective communication strategies and delegate unit work assignments appropriately
• Promote a positive work environment through professional, supportive attitudes

Requirements of the Registered Nurse

• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC Certifications required
• CPI or equivalent preferred
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to patient population served
• Effective communication skills appropriate to the developmental age of patient
