Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Nurse

• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the served age of the patient population on assigned units
• Ensure delivery of quality, efficient, and safe care consistent with unit standards
• Demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice
• Treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect
• Maintain clear and concise communication with patients tailored to their developmental age
• Adapt to flexible working hours due to schedule changes and emergencies

Requirements of the Clinical Nurse

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS Certification from AHA required
• ACLS Certification from AHA required
• PALS Certification from AHA required
• TNCC or ATCN required
• CPI or equivalent preferred
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
