The salary range is $22.80 to $28.50 per hour based on skills and experience. This position is on‑site.

SCOPE

As a dedicated member of the OnPath FCU team, this role handles delinquent accounts, reduces risk, maximizes recovery, and maintains strong member relationships. Core values: Empathetic, Passionate, Innovative, Integrity, Committed.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Minimize risk and maximize recovery on delinquent and potentially delinquent accounts. Establish win‑win solutions, build relationships, and provide excellent member service. Coordinate with Recovery Agents and internal partners for repossession, foreclosure, and disposition of collateral. Track case milestones, ensure timeline compliance, and escalates issues. Prepare documents for litigation and manage attorney activity. Submit and manage claims—including GAP, damage, and insurance—to maximize recovery. Handle bankruptcy filings, proofs of claim, and related documentation. Maintain accurate records of liens, taxes, insurance, and related responsibilities. Use skip‑tracing tools to locate members. Verify credit reporting codes for legal and collection statuses. Document all actions, conversations, payment arrangements, and correspondence. Negotiate loan modifications, repayment plans, forbearance, short sales, or deeds‑in‑lieu. Meet or exceed collection goals set by management. Advise leadership on cases requiring special attention. Perform any other duties assigned. Experience Two to five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions. Education / Certifications / Licenses High school diploma or GED required. Interpersonal Skills Trust, credibility, and diplomacy for sensitive or confidential interactions. Advanced communication with customers, reports, and vendors. Other Skills Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations relevant to the role. Proficiency with database software and the MS Office suite. Maintain the security and confidentiality of member information. Recommend process improvements to leadership. Attend classes or seminars to expand knowledge. Employ creative problem‑solving and logical reasoning. Generate reports as needed. Handle difficult situations with professional composure. Multi‑task with attention to detail and accuracy. Stay informed about OnPath’s products and services, offering the right product at the right time. Physical Requirements Bend, sit, and stand to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion; occasionally lift up to 10 lbs. Able to climb or descend stairs in emergency situations. Must operate routine office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers. Working Conditions Perform work indoors in a climate‑controlled shared work area with minimal noise. Mental Requirements Work independently or with limited supervision; follow written and oral instructions. Perform basic mathematical calculations, spell accurately, and understand computer basics.
