Locum Occupational Medicine / Urgent Care APP (NP/PA) Assignment Dates Start: August 17, 2026 End: December 31, 2026 Schedule Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Potential for 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM schedule Travel required to provide coverage at multiple clinic locations throughout the St. Paul market No call responsibilities DOT Medical Examiner Certification Required Prior To First Shift DOT certification training may be provided if needed. Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care services throughout the St. Paul market. This provider will evaluate and treat both scheduled and walk-in patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting while supporting employers, workers' compensation cases, and urgent care populations. The ideal candidate is comfortable practicing independently, performing office-based procedures, and traveling between clinic locations to ensure exceptional patient care coverage. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat occupational injuries and illnesses. Evaluate and manage urgent care patients on a walk-in basis. Conduct occupational health examinations, including: DOT Physicals Pre-Employment/Pre-Placement Physicals Public Safety Physicals Surveillance Examinations Perform office-based procedures, including suturing and minor injury care. Develop treatment plans and determine return-to-work status. Communicate medical findings and work restrictions with employer clients. Provide occupational medicine recommendations and guidance. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation. Deliver outstanding patient experiences aligned with organizational service standards.
