Full-time Dietary Cook
Countryside Manor in Fremont, Ohio is seeking a dependable and compassionate Full-time Dietary Cook to join our team. If you enjoy preparing nutritious meals and making a difference in the lives of residents, this is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive long-term care community.
Our dietary team plays an important role in creating a positive dining experience for residents while ensuring meals meet nutritional guidelines and dietary needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook meals according to menus and physician-ordered diets
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
Ensure meals are prepared on time and served at proper temperatures
Assist with food prep, portioning, and plating as needed
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area
Work collaboratively with dietary staff and other departments to support resident satisfaction
Previous cooking experience preferred (healthcare or long-term care a plus)
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary restrictions
Dependable, team-oriented, and compassionate toward residents
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
