Luxor Staffing is hiring Forklift Operators/Material Handler paying $18.85-$22.39 per hour on 2nd shift. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!

• 2nd shift schedule- Monday – Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. The candidate must be able to work 2pm-10:30pm two days out of the week. Required to work the flexible schedule as it all depends on the customer's needs. 

Responsibilities

• Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas using a forklift, clamp, push-pull equipment
• Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment
• Ensures that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
• Performs picking duties in an efficient manner meeting customer service standards
• Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers
• Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
• Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security
• Assists in physical inventories
• Ensures proper stock rotation
• Conducts cycle counts as requested
• Responsible for reporting safety concerns to management in a timely manner
• Report inventory discrepancies to inventory control team and assists in resolution
• Before the start of each shift, all candidates must complete a Forklift Pre-Inspection form and submit it to their lead.
• In addition to operating forklifts, associates will also perform general labor tasks such as bracing, hammering, using a nail gun, and strapping pallets. Pallets must be rebuilt exactly the way they originally came.
• Since the candidates will be using nails and a hammer, we will enforce steel toe boots to prevent injuries.

Qualifications

• Must a minimum of 2 years of experience in Sit-Down Forklift Operator and Clamp Operator and must be certified
• Basic math skills
• Must be knowledgeable in the use of power tools
• Basic safety understanding in operating equipment
• Must be able to use RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
