We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Bookkeeper who takes pride in keeping financial records accurate and current. If you enjoy solving discrepancies, maintaining clean books, and working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
As our Bookkeeper, you'll be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day financial health of the company.
Responsibilities include:
- Record daily financial transactions
- Maintain the general ledger
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable support
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Prepare monthly reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close
- Track company expenses and ensure proper coding
- Work closely with our CFO on financial reporting
- Assist with audit preparation and document requests
- Identify discrepancies and resolve issues before they become problems
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial information
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with QuickBooks (Online)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Self-starter with minimal supervision
Preferred:
- Experience in service, construction, or field service industries
- Experience processing high transaction volumes
- Familiarity with job costing
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
