Implementation Engineer

Molaprise is seeking a hands-on Senior Infrastructure Solutions Architect & Deployment Lead to design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions for government and public-sector clients.

This is not a design-only position. The successful candidate will own the complete solution lifecycle—from discovery and architecture through physical installation, configuration, migration, testing, client acceptance, and post-deployment support.

The role requires strong experience across HPE infrastructure, Microsoft platforms, Cisco networking, virtualization, and cloud services. You must be comfortable working directly at client offices, government facilities, network rooms, and data centers while leading technical teams and driving a high level of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure projects from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, acceptance, and operational handoff.
• Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable infrastructure solutions.
• Design and implement HPE server, storage, hyperconverged, networking, software, and HPE GreenLake solutions.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, wireless access points, VLANs, and network connectivity.
• Administer and support Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, and print services.
• Design and support Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, and Google Workspace environments.
• Deploy and troubleshoot virtualization infrastructure and its integration with compute, storage, networking, backup, monitoring, and security platforms.
• Perform and lead rack-and-stack, cabling, equipment installation, configuration, testing, migration, and cutover activities.
• Conduct site surveys and validate rack space, power, cooling, cabling, connectivity, and deployment readiness.
• Develop architecture diagrams, bills of materials, scopes of work, implementation plans, test plans, rollback procedures, budgets, and as-built documentation.
• Lead engineers, field technicians, subcontractors, OEM partners, vendors, and client technical teams during deployments.
• Identify and resolve technical risks, configuration issues, and integration challenges.
• Maintain direct ownership of technical issues through resolution and post-deployment stabilization.
• Conduct client workshops, solution presentations, demonstrations, knowledge-transfer sessions, and operational handoffs.
• Ensure deployments meet contractual requirements, security standards, approved designs, and client acceptance criteria.
• Partner with account teams on technical discovery, proposals, RFP responses, solution development, and client presentations.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities for modernization, managed services, and future solution enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Eight or more years of experience in infrastructure engineering, solution architecture, systems integration, or technical consulting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead infrastructure projects from architecture through hands-on field implementation.
• Prior experience delivering technology solutions for government or public-sector clients.
• Strong expertise across HPE server, storage, hyperconverged infrastructure, networking, software, support services, and HPE GreenLake.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, wireless, network segmentation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services, and print services.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience performing rack-and-stack, equipment installation, cabling coordination, configuration, migration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to develop accurate bills of materials, technical designs, scopes, implementation plans, labor estimates, and project documentation.
• Strong client-facing, presentation, troubleshooting, documentation, and project-coordination skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to travel to government facilities, client offices, data centers, and project sites as required.
• Availability for scheduled evening, overnight, or weekend deployment and maintenance activities when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• HPE ASE, HPE Master ASE, or HPE ATP certification.
• Relevant Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, identity, or security certification.
• Cisco CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Data Center, or CCIE certification.
• VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, cloud, ITIL, PMP, or cybersecurity certification.
• Experience supporting state, local, education, municipal, or other regulated public-sector environments.
• Experience preparing technical responses for government RFPs and statements of work.
