Hardware Sales AssociateKIMP'S ACE HARDWARE IS SEEKING A PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME HARDWARE SALES ASSOCIATE TO PROVIDE EXCEPTIONAL SERVICES TO CUSTOMERSEssential Functions:Greet all customers in a friendly and professional mannerAssist customers with plumbing, electrical, and fastener questions (training available)Ensure customers have all supplies needed to complete projectComplete daily maintenance on key machinesRestock area with all suppliesAssist and support other areas of the store to promote great teamworkUpdate pricing stickers as neededAssist with putting away product ordersDuplicate customer house and automotive keysJob Qualifications:High school or equivalentValid driver's licenseWilling to work on a weekend rotationMust be able to lift over 50 pounds frequentlyMust possess the ability to stay on task & complete work in a timely mannerStrong attention to detailWillingness to follow company policiesPrevious experience in customer service (preferred)The ability to communicate effectively with customers and team membersStrong phone communication skillsIntermediate computer skillsAbility to stand for 6 hours at a timeOur values are centered on mutual respect, job satisfaction, and a shared responsibility to build a great team and efficient work environment.Company IntroductionWe are your local hardware store and we are a part of your community.
